Lender Resource Center

A Clearer View of Golf Cart Collateral.

Review the vehicle, understand the value basis and retain the report behind the conversation. The lender controls underwriting and acceptance.

Document the Vehicle

Verify original year, make, model, powertrain, battery condition and identity.

Review the Market

Check the report date, location, comparable quality and data limitations.

Apply Your Policy

Select an accepted value basis, advance percentage and eligible costs.

Value and Lending Limit Are Separate Decisions.

A market value estimates the vehicle. A maximum advance applies the lender’s policy to its accepted value basis. Neither confirms the borrower’s eligibility. The planning worksheet in a valuation report lets you compare a selected basis and advance percentage without presenting a loan approval.

Illustration only: a lender-accepted basis of $8,000 at 90% produces a $7,200 collateral-based advance before eligible costs and other lending limits.

What to Keep in the Loan File

  • The dated report or monthly guide edition and revision used.
  • Vehicle identity, original model year, configuration, photos and inspection evidence.
  • Battery age, health, installation documentation and ownership paperwork.
  • The chosen value basis, data limitations and any independent appraisal.
  • The lender’s advance policy, eligible costs and documented exceptions.

Lender Evaluation Program

We are establishing the professional guide and welcome lenders who want to evaluate report requirements, coverage and validation. Participation does not imply endorsement, regulatory approval or automatic acceptance.
